Who we are
ScentPercent ("the app") is a fragrance-oil IFRA reference and inventory tool for makers, published by Little Foot Makers Lab ("we", "us"). If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at support@littlefootmakerslab.com.
Information we do NOT collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal or identifying information. The app has no sign-up, no login, and no user accounts.
Information stored on your device
Anything you create in the app is saved locally on your device only, using your device's standard app-storage. This includes:
- Fragrances you favorite ("My Shelf") and any amounts, costs, or notes you add;
- Supplies you add and their quantities and costs;
- Recipes you build and your build history;
- Preferences such as suppliers you've hidden and your display settings.
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or anyone else. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
Fragrance and IFRA data we provide
To show you fragrance listings and their IFRA compliance information, the app requests that reference data from our server (api.littlefootmakerslab.com). These are ordinary, read-only requests for public reference data. As with any internet request, our server automatically receives standard technical information such as your device's IP address and request time, which is used only to deliver the data and keep the service running. We do not use this information to identify or profile you, and we do not build a history of what you search or view.
No tracking, no ads, no analytics
The app contains no advertising, no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and no social media trackers. We do not use cookies or advertising identifiers.
Third parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties. The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, whose own privacy policies govern your use of those stores. Product links in the app may open a supplier's website in your browser; once you leave the app, that supplier's privacy policy applies.
Children's privacy
ScentPercent is intended for hobbyist and professional fragrance makers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Data security
Because your personal maker data stays on your device and we don't collect personal information, there is no personal data on our servers to breach. Requests to our reference API are made over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we'll update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect in a released version of the app.
